Tools To Prevent Identity Theft

ALERT
Milford Federal Savings & Loan Association will never request personal information regarding your account via e-mail. Fraudulent e-mail requests are being sent to consumers from con-artists who present themselves as legitimate financial or lending institutions or even federal bank regulators. These e-mails may appear to be official as they include logos and web addresses that are extremely similar to the original. The fraudulent emails use a variety of approaches to get customer information. For example, the requests may tell the consumer to update their account information due to inactive accounts or fraud, and that failure to do so will result in closure of the recipient’s bank account. This link may also contain a computer virus. Consumers are being warned NOT to access the link or submit any personal information. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your privacy and security contact Milford Federal Savings and Loan Association at 1-800-478-6990.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES
FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

DO NOT CALL POLICY

From time to time employees of Milford Federal Savings and Loan Association will call its customers to inform them of products and services offered by the Association or on its behalf. The Association calls only current customers and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of the state and national Do Not Call regulations.

If a customer says he does not want Milford Federal to call him again for marketing purposes, his name is placed on an in-house do not call list.
