Operations Specialist
Provide exceptional customer service and support for our Oops Program and Bill Payment. Provide support to our Consumer Banking and Lending Teams. Be responsible for running the OOPS program, levies, ACH Unbalanced, returned mail and other operations tasks. Position requires a positive attitude, being a team player and adapt well to a changing environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Daily Monitoring/Updates for the Overdraft Privilege Program:
- Maintain ODP (Overdraft Privilege) program limits/codes on new accounts.
- Prepare/mail ODP Collection notices/letters using ODP program.
- Contact ODP overdrawn customers at pre-determined intervals. Send Contact Managements for Oops Call outs on a weekly basis.
- Maintain Overdraft limits on ODP accounts>25 days overdrawn.
- Prepare and process ODP Fresh Start Repayment Plans
- Monthly prepare charge-off for ODP overdrawn accounts and Fresh Start Repayment Plans.
- Review OOPS and NSF accounts that are negative with the AVP- Operations before taking action on accounts.
- Review monthly delinquent loans to remove OOPs from Checking accounts (if they have one)
- Review monthly suspended/not qualified accounts to see if customer can be reinstated
- Track closed account payments from customers and report payments to EFunds/Compliance
- Report Closed Accounts for NSF to President, AVP Operations, VP Finance, SVP Consumer Banking and VP Compliance.
- Monitor closed accounts and remove from Bill Pay and confirm debit card is canceled.
- Respond to Checkfree and iBanking messages within both systems (shared responsibility with team)
- Review Mobile Deposits and ATM Deposits (shared responsibility with team)
- Review Bill Payments over $4000.00
- iBanking Branch Support
- Process Reg E Disputes
- ACH Unbalanced
- Fed-wire Reviews
- Responsible to Levies/Garnishment process
- Back up for Rejected items, Load Errors, Return Deposited Items and Returned Mail
- Adheres to all regulatory compliance along with banks policies and procedures
- Become an active member of the community representing Milford Federal
- Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED equivalent, Computer skills, knowledge of bank software programs such as Integra, COCC/Insight Teller, Checkfree, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel, math skills, Customer Service skills, experience with account opening processes.
