The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) recently posted an alert warning about the nationwide surge in check fraud schemes targeting the U.S. Postal Service.
In addition to targeting mail carriers, criminals are also targeting blue collection boxes, unsecured residential mailboxes, and privately owned cluster box units at apartment complexes, planned neighborhoods and high-density commercial buildings. Click here to view the alert.
